West Village rolls out the red carpet for ultra-chic designer.

European designer, Miguelina, is set to join a roster of trophy retail tenants in the chic West Village.

The leasing team of Faith Hope Consolo, chairman, and Joseph A. Aquino, executive vice president, of Prudential Douglas Elliman's Retail Leasing and Sales Division, exclusively represented both the landlord and tenant in a long-term lease at 347 Bleecker Street to Miguelina.

The store, ideally situated in the ultra-chic West Village neighborhood, will be the designer's New York flagship.

Jennifer Baker of Prudential Douglas Elliman joined the duo in the 1,500 s/f lease. The new boutique will neighbor a myriad of stylish retailers at the high-traffic corner of Bleecker and West 10th Streets when it opens in Fall 2006.

"Miguelina will join many of our other trophy clients including Fresh, LuLu Guinness, Selima and Bond 09 on Bleecker Street, one of the city's most sought-after shopping thoroughfares," stated Consolo.

"Miguelina's red carpet-worthy line of evening dresses and ultra-feminine daywear are a perfect fit in her new neighborhood."

"Her collections are presently featured at Bergdorf Goodman, Henri Bendel, Bloomingdale's and in other specialty stores nationwide," continues Aquino. "We are thrilled to have helped this acclaimed designer find her own retail space on a bustling corner."
