West Plains Telecommunications Selects Alloptic GEPON Access Network Solution.

LIVERMORE, Calif. -- Alloptic, Inc., a global leader in the design and development of Gigabit Ethernet Passive Optical Networks (GEPONs), the most widely deployed next generation access network solution, announced that West Plains Telecommunications, a wholly owned subsidiary of Five Area Telephone Cooperative, Inc. of Muleshoe, Texas has selected Alloptic's GEPON solution for their FTTP rollout. The Alloptic solution will provide greater bandwidth and services to the rapidly growing region.
