West Group acquires The Harrison Company.



West Group (Eagan, MN), a unit of Thomson Corp., has acquired all the assets of The Harrison Company (Suwanee, GA), a 94-year-old legal publisher of monographs, treatises and forms for seven southeastern U.S. states A U.S. state is any one of the fifty subnational entities of the United States, although four states use the official title "commonwealth".
