West Coast's Largest In-Water and Indoor Boat Show Opens Today, Sept. 23 at 11 a.m. in Long Beach.
LONG BEACH, Calif. -- Number of West Coast Debuts and over $100
Million in Boats and Accessories on Display
WHAT: The annual International Sail & Power Boat Show is the West
Coast's largest in-water and indoor boat show featuring
hundreds of sailboats, motor yachts, cruisers, fishing and
ski boats, performance sports boats, family trailerables,
pontoons, inflatables and personal watercraft.
West Coast debuts at the Long Beach show include:
- Eliminator Boat's 40 Fish Cat - The new, 40-foot offshore
power catamaran is designed for long-range luxury cruising
and sport fishing. Priced up to approximately $1 million,
this is the first true high-speed power catamaran capable
of cruising from Long Beach to San Francisco in a single
day.
- Viking Yachts 75-foot Sport Cruiser motor yacht priced at
approximately $4.1 million comes with four state rooms, a
42-inch pop-up plasma television, full galley and more.
- Sea Ray's 2005 550 Sedan Bridge. The most powerful and
adventurous yacht in its class with a fiberglass hardtop
as well as the very latest in marine electronics and
standard twin MAN Diesel 765 horsepower V8 inboard motors.
- Carver(R) Yachts new 38 Super Sport including an expansive
cockpit area and inviting swim deck, a salon for
entertaining, full galley, raised dinette with a
360-degree view of the water, luxurious staterooms and
optional sport package that converts the yacht to a
sport-fisher.
- The all-new "Dukes of Havasu" 28-foot Nordic Heat
high-speed performance themed boat accompanied by a
replica of the original "Dukes of Hazzard" series'
General Lee (a '69 Dodge Charger muscle car).
WHEN: Opening ceremonies will be held from approximately
11-11:15 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 23.
