West Central Division.Once again, Mother Nature cooperated with splendid weather for the West Central Division competition weekend! The students, parents and teachers were treated to generous hospitality by many Colorado members, and we wish to thank our University of Colorado-Boulder hosts, David Korevaar and Andrew Coopersrock, NCTM NCTM National Council of Teachers of Mathematics NCTM Nationally Certified Teacher of Music NCTM North Carolina Transportation Museum NCTM National Capital Trolley Museum NCTM Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage . We especially recognize the chairs: Katherine Keim, NCTM, local; Cheryl Staats, NCTM, hospitality; and Sylvia White, NCTM, monitor. A special thank you to Judy Bonnell, CMTA CMTA See: Clearing Member Trade Agreement president, for her assistance in every way. The competitions could not happen except for the generous efforts of our volunteer staff: chair David Piersel and coordinators Paul Reed, NCTM, William Lipke and Diana Skroch, NCTM. The division also congratulates Eileen Geske of North Dakota North Dakota, state in the N central United States. It is bordered by Minnesota, across the Red River of the North (E), South Dakota (S), Montana (W), and the Canadian provinces of Saskatchewan and Manitoba (N). for being named MTNA MTNA Music Teachers National Association MTNA Middle Tennessee Nursery Association (McMinnville, Tennessee) Teacher of the Year for 2004.
