The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Daniel West Jr. of Laurel. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Wade Allen of Jackson.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of diamond colored satin. The dress featured a halter neckline and a ruched bodice, which flowed into a chapel-length train. The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet of white peonies.

Dr. John Clayton Allen John Clayton Allen (February 14, 1860 - January 12, 1939) was an American politician who represented Illinois in the United States House of Representatives from 1925-1933.
Allen was born in Hinesburg, Vermont in 1860. of Charlottesville, Virginia, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Groomsmen were Stephen Christopher Buehler of New York, New York; Dr. Charles Delbert Hosemann III of Birmingham, Alabama; Thomas Vangel Panoff of Chicago, Illinois; and Robert Barnes Harwell, Griffin Harold West, Brad Julian Franklin, and Joseph Boland Zimmerman, all of Jackson, The bride's proxy was Kristen Sanders Harwell. Lindy Elizabeth Lewis and Perna Jaree Roberson served as program attendants.
Ushers were Nicholas Cosmos Giallourakis, Jonathan Matthew Eichelberger, and Tye Gordon Densford.
Following the ceremony, the bride's parents hosted a reception at the Rogers-Green House in historic downtown Laurel. Guests were entertained by the music of The Church Keys.
