The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Daniel West Jr. of Laurel. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Wade Allen of Jackson.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of diamond colored satin. The dress featured a halter neckline and a ruched bodice, which flowed into a chapel-length train. The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet of white peonies.
Attending the bride as maid of honor was Andrea Gayle Mandell of New York, New York The matron of honor was Elizabeth Wilson Harris of Sumner. Bridesmaids were Olivia Crosbie Macmillen Achtmeyer of Andover, Massachusetts; Carrie Parker Cullum of Ridgeland; Kristin Ann Loke of Charleston, South Carolina; and Erin Lazurus Pitts and Lauren Stennett Walters, both of Laurel.
The attendants wore floor-length, one-shoulder gowns of black chiffon with black satin sashes. They carried bouquets of white hydrangeas and green hypericum berries.
Dr. John Clayton Allen of Charlottesville, Virginia, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Groomsmen were Stephen Christopher Buehler of New York, New York; Dr. Charles Delbert Hosemann III of Birmingham, Alabama; Thomas Vangel Panoff of Chicago, Illinois; and Robert Barnes Harwell, Griffin Harold West, Brad Julian Franklin, and Joseph Boland Zimmerman, all of Jackson, The bride's proxy was Kristen Sanders Harwell. Lindy Elizabeth Lewis and Perna Jaree Roberson served as program attendants.
Ushers were Nicholas Cosmos Giallourakis, Jonathan Matthew Eichelberger, and Tye Gordon Densford.
Following the ceremony, the bride's parents hosted a reception at the Rogers-Green House in historic downtown Laurel. Guests were entertained by the music of The Church Keys. On the eve of the wedding, the bridegroom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Laurel Country Club. The rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception were styled by Classic Designs of Laurel and coordinated by Kendall Poole Events.
After a wedding trip to San Francisco and Sonoma, the couple is at home in Jackson. The bride is a news anchor with WAPT-TV. The bridegroom is an attorney with Brunini Grantham Grower and Hewes, PLLC.
