Werner Enterprises will provide real-world insight to QUALCOMM to help guide the development of an untethered trailer asset management system. Werner Enterprises joins the consortium as one of the founding members.

The QUALCOMM Consortium will consist of executives from a select number of leading companies in the transportation industry. This group will provide direction into how QUALCOMM's untethered trailer tracking product will be implemented in the market.

A Product Direction Council has been chartered to help provide feedback to QUALCOMM about product features for the untethered trailer tracking product. The council will consist of consortium members, who will be permanent members, and non-consortium members whose membership will rotate periodically. Product Direction Council members will be able to participate in beta product testing.
