Welding machine maker expands U.S. presence.

Sonotronic will continue to supply German-made equipment, although the 5000-sq-ft Brighton facility was built to accommodate a manufacturing plant in the future.

Sonotronic says it is among a few suppliers who manufacture custom ultrasonic ultrasonic /ul·tra·son·ic/ (-son´ik) beyond the upper limit of perception by the human ear; relating to sound waves having a frequency of more than 20,000 Hz.
