Attendees have a sure bet, as AMS Program Co-chairs Steve Werblow and Becky Terry have expertly guided their committee in developing another outstanding program featuring top speakers in the "trifecta tri·fec·ta

Start your taste of Kentucky with a tour of the beautiful Bluegrass bluegrass, any species of the large and widely distributed genus Poa, chiefly range and pasture grasses of economic importance in temperate and cool regions. In general, bluegrasses are perennial with fine-leaved foliage that is bluish green in some species.  State on Saturday, July 28. Then on Sunday morning, the focus is on photography with a "Masters Class"--an informal session with some of the best photographers in the business. The Sunday afternoon program features certified Adobe trainer Claudia McCue. Topping off the day is the Kick-Off Reception at Huber's Orchard and Winery the perfect intro to a great event.

While golfers enjoy one of the best courses in the country, other attendees will appreciate the intensive sessions designed to hone professional skills. Former Secretary of Agriculture Dan Glickman provides the keynote address at lunch on Monday entitled, "The Power of Humor."

More great sessions round out the afternoon program, right up to the Grand Opening of InfoExpo at 4:00 p.m. The InfoExpo has grown exponentially over the years, bringing top executives from agribusinesses through-out the country.

Tuesday, July 31, brings another outstanding field of speakers and topics. Improve interviewing skills, expand creativity and develop your ability to manage stress. These highlights complement the core "trifecta" sessions. On Wednesday, attend the annual meetings of AAEA and LPC, followed by a networking brunch and educational session on the International Congress to be held in Ft. Worth, Texas in 2009.

The valuable professional improvement sessions are provided to attendees at a fraction of the cost of comparable meetings, thanks to the generous support of our sponsors. For that support, we are truly grateful.

In summary, if you want to be where the action is, I'm betting you'll be in Louisville this summer at the Ag Media Summit. We'll see you there!
