Welcome to the journal of medical psychology.

The Journal of Medical Psychology is an international, interdisciplinary, peer reviewed journal publication devoted to the area of psychology, psychiatry and neurology, with an emphasis in the middle ground among T the reported fields. The Journal of Medical Psychology resulted from the steadily uprising need in improving communication among different specialties of diverse backgrounds interested in the interaction of behavioral, psychosocial, environmental, genetic and biomedical factors relevant to health. A significant function of this journal is the application of this knowledge towards prevention, treatment, rehabilitation and health maintenance processes.

The Journal of Medical Psychology publishes articles originating from all continents that involve original research, metaanalytic studies, theoretical integrative reviews, case reports as well as special feature articles related to the aforementioned areas of interest. Contributing articles relevant to medical psychology will originate from disciplines such as: basic sciences, psychology, psychiatry, neurology, psychopharmacology, psychoendocrinology, psychobiology, geriatrics, rehabilitation medicine, epidemiology, anthropology, biostatistics and psychosomatic medicine.

The Executive Board and officers of the Journal of Medical Psychology have delegated to the Editor in Chief and members of the Editorial Board the selection of articles appearing in the Journal of Medical Psychology. Statements and opinions expressed in such articles are those of the authors and not necessarily those of the Journal of Medical Psychology, its committees, the Editors, or Editorial Board. The Journal of Medical Psychology is published in print and electronic version 2 times a year. The electronic version of the journal's article will be available by many academic databases on a subscription basis.
