It is with great pleasure that I extend a warm welcome to the organizers, participants and nominees who will be joining us in Thunder Bay Thunder Bay, city (1991 pop. 113,946), SW Ont., Canada, on Thunder Bay inlet of Lake Superior. The city was created in 1970 by the amalgamation of the twin cities of Fort William and Port Arthur and two adjoining townships.  for the 2003 Northern Ontario Business Northern Ontario Business is a Canadian magazine, which publishes monthly in Greater Sudbury, Ontario. The magazine covers business news and issues in Northern Ontario.  Awards Gala.

We are honoured that Thunder Bay was once again chosen to host this exceptional event, and I look forward to recognizing the efforts of those who create the opportunities that allow us to enjoy living and working in Northern Ontario Northern Ontario is the part of the province of Ontario which lies north of Lake Huron (including Georgian Bay), the French River and Lake Nipissing.

Thunder Bay has been a meeting centre since the days of the Fur Trade fur trade, in American history. Trade in animal skins and pelts had gone on since antiquity, but reached its height in the wilderness of North America from the 17th to the early 19th cent. . With 400 years of experience, we value our reputation as a warm and enthusiastic host city. There's always something to do in Thunder Bay.
