I have eight children, and my oldest one was married last year. He wanted to get married in the Catholic Church, but he got the same sort of treatment that Catherine O'Connell-Cahill described in March's The Examined Life ("Getting engaged").

So now they have a baby who will probably never be baptized bap·tize
