Welch Allyn, Inc., one of the world's leading manufacturers of medical diagnostic instruments, today announced that it has entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with CooperSurgical to provide private label, Welch Welch , William Henry 1850-1934.

"The products will be sold under the Welch Allyn brand name through the company's established distribution network," explained Louise McDonald, vice president of global channel development at Welch Allyn. "The timeline for product availability is currently under development, but both companies expect that a rollout of all products covered under the agreement to begin in the fourth quarter of 2001." Welch Allyn sees the move to enter into this agreement with CooperSurgical as part of a larger effort to expand its focus on the frontline women's health marketplace as a whole. On-going investments in this area are planned, and a market-focused team is in place to further develop the company's solutions-based product and segment development efforts.
