Weiss announces $4.5m refi and new leases at Colonial Village.

Colonial Village Professional Office Park and Shopping Center located on the corner of Route 27 (Lincoln Highway) and Parsonage Road in Edison, New Jersey continues to advance its development as a dynamic, upscale destination.

Jaime Weiss, managing partner of Colonial Village Associates, LLC and president of Weiss Realty, the center's leasing and managing agent, has announced the signing of 5 new office leases. In addition, Weiss has arranged a $4.5 million, 10 year, fixed-rate, self-liquidating loan with The Provident Bank, represented by Senior Vice President Patricia Patriarca and Vice President George Mesler.

Loucas, Colonial Village's renowned Italian seafood restaurant, has expanded into a 2,000 s/f adjacent space, adding two dining rooms to meet increasing demand for corporate meeting space and additional banquet rooms. The new spaces have capacities of 20-40 persons in either classroom or banquet style seating and Loucas can now provide corporate clients with audio/visual equipment to augment their presentations. Colonial Village offers 70,000 s/f of retail shops and professional offices on six attractively landscaped acres. Its ideal location is at the crossroads of central New Jersey, easily accessible from the Garden State Parkway at Exit 131, the New Jersey Turnpike and Routes 1 and 9. The Metro Park trail station is less that 1/2 mile from the site and John F. Kennedy Medical Center is within walking distance.

At present, the 20,000 s/f of retail space is fully leased with a variety of distinguished tenants such as Starbucks, Bernstein's Fine Women's Apparel.
