Weinsteins open second act at Hudson Square.


Harvey and Bob Weinstein, founders of Miramax and Dimension Films and newly formed The Weinstein Company, have committed to 27,000 s/f of office space at 345 Hudson Street Hudson Street can refer to:
  • The Manhattan street -- see Hudson Street (Manhattan)
  • The 1978 TV series A.E.S. Hudson Street
  • The 1995 TV series "Hudson Street -- see Hudson Street (TV show)
 to house their new movie company.

Thomas Lynch Thomas Lynch is the name of several notable people:
  • Thomas Lynch (statesman) (1727–1776), South Carolina delegate to the Continental Congress
  • Thomas Lynch, Jr.
 of Trinity Real Estate acted on behalf of the ownership, while Brian Waterman and Lance Korman of Newmark represented The Weinstein Company in the lease negotiations.

The Weinsteins, the producers responsible for bringing many award-winning films to the big screen, will retain their executive offices and the base for The Weinstein Company at the TriBeCa Film Center.

They will consolidate their staff from 11 Beach Street, 99 Hudson Street and 161 Avenue of the Americas to new offices at the Trinity Real Estate-owned property at 345 Hudson Street on October 1, 2005. The company is taking possession of 20,000 s/f originally the North American North American

They will remain co-chairs of Miramax on a non-exclusive basis through September 30, 2005.
