Metro New York is a free daily newspaper in New York City started in 2004. Its main competition is AM New York, with which it practices many of the same distribution and marketing strategies.

WREA WREA Wisconsin Retired Educators' Association (formerly Wisconsin Retired Teachers Association)  President Martin J. (Marty) Rueter congratulated all offices and honorees, saying, "Today's awards celebration is for everyone within the Weichert[R] System--brokers, managers, sales associates, support staff, and their spouses and guests, who have each helped us far exceed our business objectives for 2005.

"Through your continued hard work, dedication and professionalism, we look forward to reaching even greater heights in 2006 and beyond." Rueter presented five Awards of Excellence to New York Metro offices and numerous individual awards to sales associates. The five top companies were: President's Club honorees WEICHERT, REALTORS[R]--Bonus Real Estate (Woodhaven) and

WEICHERT, REALTORS[R]--Vitale Sunshine (Staten Island Staten Island (1990 pop. 378,977), 59 sq mi (160 sq km), SE N.Y., in New York Bay, SW of Manhattan, forming Richmond co. of New York state and the borough of Staten Island of New York City. ), and Ambassador's Cup honorees WEICHERT, REALTORS[R]--The Dallow Agency (Farmingdale, North Bellmore, Levittown and Commack), WEICHERT, REALTORS[R]--Pioneer (Great Neck) and WEICHERT, REALTORS[R]--FH Realty (Forest Hills).

The march of top agents to the stage included an impressive 127 honorees from the 21 offices. Weichert Real Estate Affiliates launched its first office in January 2002 and now claims more than 200 franchised offices in 20 states.
