Fisher was aware that the building, which B&M was ready to sell, suited Fowler's needs. As a result, Fowler entered into a contract on the building and simultaneously asked Fisher to market the Monroe Street building on his behalf. Fisher called upon Ray Catena, who recently purchased a property in close proximity to 24 Monroe Street. Catena closed on the property and enabled Fowler to complete a 1031 exchange. Catena will utilize the facility for the expansion of his business. |
