The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated, incorporated in February 1992,
operates casual dining restaurants under The Cheesecake Factory and
Grand Lux Cafe marks in the United States. On March 4, 2004, the
Company operated 75 upscale, full-service, casual dining restaurants
under The Cheesecake Factory mark in 24 states and the District of
Columbia. It also operated three upscale full-service casual dining
restaurants under the Grand Lux Cafe mark in Chicago, Illinois; Los
Angeles, California, and Las Vegas, Nevada; and one self-service,
limited-menu express foodservice operation under he Cheesecake
Factory Express mark inside the DisneyQuest family entertainment
center in Orlando, Florida. The Company also operated a bakery
production facility in Calabasas Hills, California, which produces
baked desserts and other products for the Company's restaurants and
for other foodservice operators, retailers and distributors.
