Business Overview

Semtech Corporation, incorporated in 1960, is a supplier of analog and
mixed-signal semiconductors. The Company designs, produces and markets
a broad range of products that are sold principally to customers in the
computer, communications and industrial markets. The Company's products
are designed into a variety of end applications, including notebook and
desktop computers, computer gaming systems, personal digital assistants
(PDAs), cellular telephones, wireline networks, wireless base stations
and test systems. The Company's end customers are primarily original
equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and their suppliers, including Agilent,
Cisco, Compal Electronics, Dell, Hewlett Packard, IBM, Intel, Lucky
Goldstar, Microsoft, Motorola, Quanta Computer, Samsung, Sony and
Unisys.
