Business Overview
K-Fed Bancorp is a federally chartered stock corporation that operates
as a holding company of Kaiser Federal Bank (the Bank). The Bank is a
federally chartered savings association that provides retail and
commercial banking services to individual and business customers from
its seven branches throughout California. Its principal business
consists of attracting retail deposits from the general public and
investing those funds primarily in permanent loans secured by first
mortgages on owner-occupied, one- to four-family residences and to a
lesser extent, multi-family residential loans and commercial real
estate loans. The company is a majority-owned subsidiary of K-Fed
Mutual Holding Company, a federally chartered mutual holding company.
The bank has a branch in Pasadena and Panorama City to serve the Los
Angeles County, a branch in Fontana to serve the San Bernardino and
Riverside counties, and a branch in Santa Clara to serve the Santa
Clara County.
