Univision Communications Inc., incorporated in 1992, together with its
wholly owned subsidiaries, is a Spanish-language media company in the
United States. The company operates in four business segments:
Television, Radio, Music and Internet. The company's principal business
segment is Television, which consists primarily of the Univision,
TeleFutura and Galavision television networks. Univision Radio is a
Spanish-language radio broadcasting company in the United States. The
company's Music segment consists of its music recording and music
publishing business, which includes the Univision Records label, the
Fonovisa Record: label and an ownership interest in Disa Records. In
the Internet segment, Univision Online Inc., operates the company's
Internet portal, which provides Spanish-language content directed at
Hispanics in the Unitec States, Mexico and Latin America.
