Business Overview

Peerless Systems Corp., incorporated in 1982 and reincorporated in September 1996, licenses software-based imaging and networking technology and integrates proprietary software into printers, copiers and multifunction products of original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). The company is developing controller products and applications for sale to OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) The rebranding of equipment and selling it. The term initially referred to the company that made the products (the "original" manufacturer), but eventually became widely used to refer to the organization that buys the products and  sales and distribution channels.
