centers located in 37 states and the District of Columbia, serving

inpatient dialysis services in approximately 370 hospitals. On
December 6, 2004, the company entered into an agreement to acquire
Gambro Healthcare, Inc. (Gambro Healthcare), a dialysis service
provider in the United States.
