Wedge Technology Announces the ShowBiz 9000M; Presentation Notebook PC with 266MHz Intel Mobile Module Features Display that Converts into a Projection Panel.

The ShowBiz 9000M is a true presentation notebook solution that lightens the load of anyone who makes frequent presentations on the road. Its Liquid Crystal Display liquid crystal display (LCD)

Optoelectronic device used in displays for watches, calculators, notebook computers, and other electronic devices. Current passed through specific portions of the liquid crystal solution causes the crystals to align, blocking the passage of light.
 (LCD) converts into an overhead projection panel. Any image, application or video running on the ShowBiz 9000M can be projected up to 6 feet high -- eliminating the need for a separate projection system when the system is used with an overhead projector.

List price of the ShowBiz 9000M is $2,700. The system measures 12.4" x 9.6" x 2" and weighs just 7.4 pounds with battery, CD-ROM drive A device that holds and reads CD-ROM discs. In ShowBiz 9000M base system has a list price of $2,700. It ships with Intel's 266MHz Pentium Mobile Module CPU; 32MBs RAM; 2.1GB hard drive; and 12.1" active matrix super VGA display.

Also included are 16Bit Duplex 3D Sound Blaster compatible audio chip with microphone and speakers for multimedia editing, 1.44 MB floppy drive, USB port, Zoomed Video port See ZV Port. , Card Bus support, heat dissipating cooling fan; and smart Li-Ion battery with battery charger/AC adapter. A number of hard drive, RAM configurations, and storage options are also available.
