Wedding World to Sell Inventory at Drastically Reduced Prices.

ALTOONA, Pa. -- Kaufman's Wedding World will open its doors on Friday, October 29, allowing customers and anyone else to purchase merchandise at substantially reduced prices. Beginning on Friday, October 29, the store locations will be open Monday-Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sundays from 12 noon to 5:00 p.m.

Original prices will be substantially reduced to aid in a rapid liquidation. Discounts will begin at 50-70 percent off of original prices. Gowns that originally sold for $1,800 will now sell for $299. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The store will be open for three weeks or less depending on how quickly inventory is sold.

Customers who made deposits on merchandise will be allowed an additional 50 percent off of the already drastically reduced Going Out of Business Sale prices. To verify deposits, customers should bring receipts with them when shopping. Purchases can be made by cash, Visa or MasterCard only.

Hudson Capital, LLC, an experienced team of retail liquidators based in Miss., will coordinate the sale of more than ten million dollars of inventory including bridal gowns, wedding party dress and other special occasion formal wear.

Kaufman's began selling wedding attire 110 years ago at its first location in Altoona, Pa. The company later expanded with stores in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio and West Virginia. In September 2004, the company filed for bankruptcy abruptly closing its doors. In early September after ordered by Commonwealth Court, the Kaufman's stores opened for the limited purpose of returning special order, fully paid dresses to consumers who provided receipts confirming payment. As Kaufman's opens to sell off remaining assets, if any such orders still exist at the Kaufman's locations and a consumer can present a paid-in-full receipt, those gowns will be delivered to the consumer.
