To be able to view a building online is nothing new. For the better part of a decade, computer-savvy New Yorkers have been able to ogle o·gle

The interactive web page allows users to search for buildings by architect, architectural style, borough, address, date or even building material. The Conservancy is thought to be the first organization in the U.S. to use the web to identify endangered historic buildings. Now that the technology is set up, it will be open to conservancy groups in other cities who are looking to preserve bits of the past.
