I thoroughly enjoyed--and learned from--Jenny Wohlleb's article on effective websites ("Twelve Essentials of a School District Website," May 2006).

The article provides a solid footing for a defense of doing it the right way. For example, as Wohlleb points out, some people consider black text on a white background to be "boring." As someone with over 10 years of experience in doing websites (who did not always do it right), I strongly encourage anyone who works with web content --and those who supervise them--to read Wohlleb's article.
