Weavings of War.Women folk artists in the Third World have been depicting their encounters with war by using textiles in creative ways. The traveling exhibit "Weavings of War: Fabrics of Memory" has gathered together some of these representations from Afghanistan, Chile, Laos, Palestine, Peru, South Africa, and Vietnam, among other places. Produced by the City Lore, the Michigan State University Michigan State University, at East Lansing; land-grant and state supported; coeducational; chartered 1855.
