GLAMORGAN director of cricket Matthew Maynard Matthew Peter Maynard (born March 21, 1966, Oldham, Lancashire) is a former cricketer.

Maynard was a skilled batsman (and, later in his career, wicketkeeper) famed for his aggressive and dashing strokeplay.
 insists the county will provide a pitch fit for the Ashes despite seeing his side penalised for poor playing conditions at Cardiff last week.
