Announces Successful Deep Gas Completion.IRVINE, Calif. -- Waveland Drilling Partners 2002A, L.P. announces the successful completion of the John Montesano Partnership, et al. #1 in Lafayette Parish, La. This well offsets the partnership's Failla #1 well that has produced nearly 125,000 barrels of oil and over 5 billion cubic feet of gas since being brought online in September of 2003. The Montesano well, drilled to a total depth of 15,920 feet, is currently flowing over 18 million cubic feet of gas per day (MMCFG/D) and nearly 500 barrels of oil per day on a 28/64" adjustable choke (jargon) choke - To fail to process input or, more generally, to fail at any endeavor. During testing measured bottom hole pressure was 4400 psi PSI - Portable Scheme Interpreter , and gas gravity was measured at 0.667 sg (specific gravity specific gravity, ratio of the weight of a given volume of a substance to the weight of an equal volume of some reference substance, or, equivalently, the ratio of the masses of equal volumes of the two substances. ). The well has a CAOF (calculated absolute open flow) exceeding 100 MMCFG/D. The Montesano and its predecessor, the M. A. Failla #1, are in the highly productive West Broussard Field in South Louisiana which is considered one of the most significant onshore on·shore adj. 1.
