NuGenesis' Scientific Data Management System platform is an advanced web-based scientific information management product for data preservation and integration. The company recorded sales of more than $21 million in 2003. Expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2004, the transaction is forecasted to be neutral to Waters' 2004 earnings on a pro-forma basis and prior to anticipated acquisition charges.
