Water cooling with IBC.

A cylinder of water-cooled metal inside the bubble of a dedicated blown film line producing heavy-duty shipping sacks increases output by 30-40%, to over 600 lb/hr, says Kiefel Extrusion GmbH in Germany (U.S. offices in Wrentham, Mass.). Kiefel s Enhanced Cooling Package (ECP (Enhanced Capabilities Port) See IEEE 1284.

air cool, rather than being heated by the bubble. The module is sized to leave only a narrow gap for IBC air to pass between it and the bubble. The current model can be retrofitted onto Kiefel Kirion blown film lines for form-fill-seal bag production. It fits a 175-mm die and bubble with a low BUR bur or burr, popular name for fruits that have barbed, pointed, or rough outgrowths. By clinging to the fur or hair of animals and the clothing of man they are transported from the parent plant, often great distances.  (1.8 to 2:1). Kiefel has made five installations. ECP may later be adapted to other bubble sizes. It will be launched in the U.S. at NPE NPE NullPointerException (Java)
