Water Quality Health Alert Lifted - Water Found Safe to Drink inside Crosby Well Blowout Evacuation Zone; All Remaining Evacuees but One Family Have the 'All Clear' to Return Home Safely.

supply of water available to animals for drinking supplied via nipples, in troughs, dams, ponds and larger natural water sources; an insufficient supply leads to dehydration; it can be the source of infection, e.g. leptospirosis, salmonellosis, or of poisoning, e.g.
 surrounding the well blow out area to be safe for human consumption. In a statement made today by HCPHES, water analysis, based on two rounds of sampling on the wells, was reported to have revealed no evidence of known health risks associated with accessing or drinking water from wells, making the use of bottled water for drinking and cooking purposes no longer necessary and enabling all residents to return to their homes, with the exception of one family within 1,250 feet surrounding the well.

"This is the good news we saw since the first round of water well testing. We are grateful that public health officials are able to officially declare area water safe for drinking and cooking, after the second round of tests continued to show no problems," said Gene Miller, co-owner LGDC. "Throughout the well-control process we have been diligently working to do everything possible to ensure the safety of local residents. We'd like to acknowledge and thank evacuated homeowners for their cooperation and patience throughout this process. We're glad to see that all remaining evacuees Resident or transient persons who have been ordered or authorized to move by competent authorities, and whose movement and accommodation are planned, organized and controlled by such authorities.  but one family will be able to return to their homes as soon as possible.
