WasteCare.
Oscar the Grouch should have patented the taking trash can An icon of a garbage can used for deleting data. The icon of a file or folder is dragged to the trash can and released. In the Mac, the trash can is also used to eject removable media by dragging the disk icons onto it. Windows 95 introduced the recycle bin (more politically correct for the 1990s), which is used to delete files and folders, not to eject media.. Instead, Atlanta-based WasteCare has muscled in on Oscars territory with The development of the Smart-Pack, an automatic compacting trash receptacle. Its got the same capacity as 10 33-gallon trash bags, yet it requires much less space than conventional trash bins, and saves money in reducing waste hauling and labor. Plus: its messaging capabilities offer an additional advertising venue, presenting computerized sound bytes to customers.
