Caddell will join Waste Management from Yellow Technologies Inc. where she has served as president since November 1999. Prior to that position, she was vice president of Systems Development for Yellow Technologies, which is based in Overland Park Overland Park, city (1990 pop. 111,790), Johnson co., NE Kans., a residential suburb of Kansas City; inc. 1960. There is printing and publishing, and the manufacture of apparel, aircraft parts, cement, prepared foods, salt, chemicals, marine accessories, and signs. , Kan. Prior to Yellow Technologies, Caddell held systems development and software engineering positions with America West Airlines America West Airlines was one of the United States' ten major airlines. The airline was based in Tempe, Arizona, and is now a part of US Airways Group.

Caddell holds a bachelor's degree in history from Jacksonville University and a master's degree in systems engineering from the University of Arizona (body, education) University of Arizona - The University was founded in 1885 as a Land Grant institution with a three-fold mission of teaching, research and public service. . She also completed an executive education program at Harvard University.

While at Yellow Technologies Inc., Caddell and her team received the CIO 100 award in 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2003. The Kansas City Business Journal also recognized her in 2003 as one of the Journal's "25 Women Who Mean Business."

Caddell will start her employment with Waste Management later this month.
