The chapter president, Capt. George Asseng, provided a memorium of $1,500 to the Pentagon Memorial Fund at a meeting of the Pentagon Memorial Fund Family Steering Committee. This donation was in memory of all the victims of the 9/11 attack, including fifteen members of the chapter: Angelene Carter, Dr. Gerald Fisher, Brenda Gibson, Peggie Hurt, Brenda Kegler, David Laychak, Robert Maxwell, Patricia Mickley, Diana Padro, Rhonda Rasmussen, Edward Rowenhorst, Robert Russell, Chuck Sabin, Sandra Taylor, and Willie Troy. "We were privileged to work with these professionals and [are priviledged] to be able to honor their memory through this donation."
