Washington Group International Enters Teaming Agreement For Coal Refining Technology in West Virginia.

BOISE, Idaho--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 3, 2004

Washington Group International, Inc. (Nasdaq:WGII WGII Washington Group International Inc (stock symbol) ) announced today that it has entered into a teaming agreement with CENfuel FPU (Floating Point Unit) A computer circuit that handles floating point operations.

CENfuel is developing proprietary chemical processes to refine coal and coal waste into value-added carbon products including industrial carbons, activated carbon, silica, and alumina.
