Cole recently received The J.B. and Blanche Earthman Award from CanCare of Houston for his ongoing support and dedication to the organization's ministry of hope for cancer survivors Cancer survivors are those individuals with cancer of any type, current or past, who are still living. Since joining CanCare's Board in 1996 as treasurer, Cole has served in many positions. He was chairman from 1999 to 2001 and is currently the vice president of The CanCare of Houston Foundation. In addition to these roles, he has been an at-large member for three terms and chairs the Financial Development Committee.
