Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection and Insurance Co. is now offering Select Machinery Warranty, an extended warranty program provided by the seller on new and used machinery. It applies to machinery operated in North America after the dealer's 30-day return privilege or expiration of a manufacturer's warranty, which often lasts a year. Included in coverage are computer-numeric-control machines, presses, and injection-molding, metalworking and measuring machines. The warranty is designed for machinery valued at $10,000 to $1 million.
