The manuscript was discovered by Hunter Halverson while visiting the Red Cross Museum in Washington DC and got the family's permission to publish Angela's correspondence into a book that makes available the story of a Red Cross Worker's field activities as she followed American GIs through some of the war's most defining moments offering today's readers a unique perspective in a series of articulate, even eloquent el·o·quent
