Re: A survey in July's H&H in which more than half of hospital respondents said some employees had refused H1N1 vaccinations.

Refused vaccination: 56%? Preventable? Yes. Motivational? No. Here's why: Wintertime illnesses let health care workers stay at home on sick leave during snow/ice conditions.

[Employees] need more motivation than the facility's free shots, especially in today's era of declining work ethic. Progressive public safety agencies now require the immunizations as a condition of employment. No immunizations, no working there.
