Wallingford Software, a specialist developer of modelling software for the water industry, announced on 24 April the release of V10.0 of its InfoWorks, Floodworks and InfoNet solutions.

The company said that a 'major' addition to the latest version is the ability to model collapsing walls. The feature was initially developed to model cascades of falling dams but the software can now model any type of collapsing barrier based on depth, water level, velocity of unit force criteria criteria (krītēr´ē),

, with either the whole wall or just segments able to be collapsed. Further enhancements to all modules are included in the V10.0 release.
