Wallbridge busy staking claims.

Near Greater Sudbury Greater Sudbury (2006 census population 157,857) is a city in Northern Ontario, Canada. Greater Sudbury was created in 2001 by amalgamating the cities and towns of the former Regional Municipality of Sudbury, along with several previously unincorporated geographic townships.  -- Sandwiched between Ministic Lake and the old Worthington Mine site in the west end of Greater Sudbury is a newly discovered ore body found by Wallbridge Mining Company Ltd.

The Sudbury Nickel Belt

Nickel Belt is an informal nickname for the Sudbury region in Northern Ontario, because of the belt of nickel ore deposits found in the area.
hosts the world's largest concentration of nickel deposits and is currently the most active mining camp in North America North America, third largest continent (1990 est. pop. 365,000,000), c.9,400,000 sq mi (24,346,000 sq km), the northern of the two continents of the Western Hemisphere. . Not only is nickel produced here, but platinum group The platinum group (alternatively, the platinum group metals or platinum metals) is a collective name sometimes used for six metallic elements clustered together in the periodic table.  metals have been found in the footwalls and dykes of the Sudbury Igneous Complex The Sudbury Igneous Complex is a 1844 million year old impact melt sheet in Greater Sudbury, Northern Ontario, Canada. It is part of the Sudbury Basin impact structure, and is classified as a lopolith. .

As the resurgence in mineral prices grows, Wallbridge is staking more ground in the community.

copper and precious group elements (PGEs) in the footwalls of the Sudbury Igneous Complex."

Samples from the newly discovered Trill Offset Dyke consist of 1.61 percent nickel and 1.03 percent copper, with 2.41 grams of platinum per tonne, 5.92 g of palladium per tonne and 0.77 g of gold per tonne. The sample comes from within a defined massive sulphide zone approximately 50 metres long averaging three metres wide with a maximum depth of 30 m. Two diamond drills so far have been confined to a short 150 m section of the dyke to a maximum depth of approximately 100 metres. Wallbridge covers 11.5 km of potential strike length.

Drilling on the Trill has resumed in order to test the dyke's depth down plunge. Surface showings are limited as a result of excessive vegetation, but outcrops are revealed where the ore zone was discovered.

Work to trace and explore the dyke back toward the Sudbury Igneous Complex to the east and to the west is currently underway, using geologic mapping, geophysics and diamond drilling. Results will be announced over the next few months.

The work is funded 100-percent by Lonmin Plc, through the Wallbridge-Lonmin Sudbury Camp Joint Venture.

Lonmin is the world's third-largest underground platinum producer and can earn up to a 65 percent interest of the mineral resources by funding exploration through to production.

Inco Ltd. has a property to the east of Wallbridge known as the Trillabelle deposit. It has a massive sulphide deposit with low copper-nickel showings, and is therefore sub-economic. But it does indicate to Soever that his team is on the right path.

The Trill dyke is one of 21 properties in the company's possession.

A geologist by profession, Soever worked with Watts, Griffis and McOuat Ltd. overseeing the nickel-copper PGEs portfolio until the Wallbridge board approached him with a presidential position, "not a bad place to start."

The Sudbury footwalls have largely been unexplored. Only now are geologists obtaining a better understanding of the mineralization potential.

"There is a whole new generation of deposits that can be found there."
