Walkout Ends: A janitorial contractor and the union representing aerospace janitors in L.A. County agreed to a three-year contract, ending a strike that had entered its fourth week. The agreement came several days after the union had signed a contract with two other janitorial services. The janitors were striking to demand better wages and benefits for their work at Boeing (language) BOEING - An early system on the IBM 1130.

 Co., Raytheon Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN) is a major American defense contractor and industrial corporation with core manufacturing concentrations in defense systems and defense and commercial electronics.  Co. and Northrop Grumman Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) is an aerospace and defense conglomerate that is the result of the 1994 purchase of Grumman by Northrop. The company is the third largest defense contractor for the U.S.  Corp. facilities.
