The President of the Writers Guild of America The Writers Guild of America is a term often referring to the joint efforts of the Writers Guild of America, East and the Writers Guild of America, west. Organizing campaigns by reality TV writers and editors has become a sticky subject in Hollywood, with some producers--and some guild members--questioning whether reality writers should be entitled to the contracts of traditional TV writers."
