IT IS WITH MORE THAN A LITTLE PRIDE that we present this issue of CLTC CLTC Certified in Long-Term Care
CLTC Community Long Term Care
CLTC Chapter Leadership Training Conference
to you this month. It all starts on our front cover.

You will notice a medallian of honor on this month's cover. It is there to tout our two most recent awards for journalistic excellence: one Jesse H. Neal National Business Journalism Award for "Best single article" and for being voted first runner-up in the Grand Neal award (which, I am told, is the highest honor this magazine has won to date)! You can read the details in our Newsfront section, but I wanted to take this opportunity to thank the judges for recognizing our continued commitment to delivering only the highest-quality editorial content to our readers.

Speaking of awards, I hope you have already submitted your entry for judging in our Order of Excellence in Architecture & Interior Design Awards. Even as I write this, Editorial Advisory Board Member and Jury Chair Robert P. Volzer, IIDA IIDA International Interior Design Association

of all such awards recognizing design and architecture in this field. Often imitated, never duplicated! The awards will be issued at our annual Order of Excellence in Senior Living Design extravaganza, our opulent reception to be held this year in Washington, D.C. Winning architects, interior designers, and facilities will be announced in our Senior Living Design supplement, which will accompany our September issue.

And speaking of our Senior Living series of supplements, we are also pleased to provide you with our annual Senior Living Finance supplement along with this issue. This is a decidedly upbeat look at the lending community and how the opportunities to invest in assisted living as·sist·ed living

We are a proud sponsor of this event, so if you are going to attend, be sure to write on your registration card that you read about it in CLTC!

Wow. That's a lot to be proud of!
