Wakefern Selects Transora's Data Pool Solution; Major Grocery Cooperative to Work with Transora's Community.

CHICAGO -- Transora, the leading Data Pool for the consumer products industry, announced today that the Wakefern Food Corporation The Wakefern Food Corporation, founded in 1946 and based in Elizabeth, New Jersey (United States), is the largest cooperative group of supermarkets in the United States. The name "Wakefern" is a portmanteau of the founders' names (W for Louis Weiss, A for Al and Sam Aidekman, K for  has selected Transora as its Recipient Data Pool.

Wakefern's announcement represents the tenth to join Transora's global community of food and consumer product manufacturers and retailers. Wakefern, a retail cooperative with over 190 stores located in the Northeast, will begin pilot activities with Transora's community.
