Wacko over Foley: the Mark Foley scandal sparked an antigay feeding frenzy among ultraconservative Christian leaders and far-right political pundits. In case you missed these wingnuts on radio and TV, here are a few of their most ridiculous outbursts.


"We are now hearing that this flamer, Mr. Foley, was going after kids.... Did you know he was this kind of flamer who was after pages?"--Pat Buchanan, former presidential candidate and political analyst, on MSNBC's Scarborough Country Scarborough Country was an opinion/analysis show broadcast on MSNBC Monday - Thursday at 9 P.M. ET. It was hosted by former congressman Joe Scarborough (R - Fla.).

Scarborough Country made its debut in April 2003.
