Wachovia relocation creates a prime retail site in Bedminster.


Wachovia Securities Wachovia Securities, located in Richmond, Virginia (soon to be moved to St. Louis), is the third largest brokerage firm in the United States as of 2006 with $689 billion retail client assets under management. It is a subsidiary of Wachovia Corporation.  has leased 4,572 s/fof office space at The Village at Bedminster in Bedminster, N.J.

"We saw an opportunity to increase the retail profile of the Village and place Wachovia in an environment more conducive to its service business profile," said Bernstein.

"It's a situation where all parties wind up in a stronger position. We felt that the property would be better served by bringing in more retail to replace some of the service uses we found when we were appointed as manager."
