Various officials from the Administrative Committee of Guangzhou Economic and Technical Development District, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the Peoples Republic of China and the State General Administration of Customs were on hand to help formally launch the auction and to provide assistance with technical issues.

Auction items consisted of a wide variety of equipment, both imported to and exported from China. Buyers from China and around the world attended the auction and successfully bid on the equipment for sale. WWA Group plans to continue managing auctions at the Guangzhou facility.
